so guys what do you really think of Ben?
in my opinion he is a brilliant character and is fastly becoming one of my favourites. he is really clever and is kind of like and evil genious if you know what i mean. i think that we got to see a different side to ben in episode 7 "i do" when he was talking to jack about the surgery (i won't elaborate any further just in case someone hasn't seen the ep and does'nt want to be spoiled) he seemed kind of vulnerable but if he survives i don't think this vulnerability will last to long and he will probably return to being the good old creepy, bug-eyed, evil ben than we know and love!!!

what are your thoughts?

I think he's a great character - he can look horribly creepy one minute and scared and vulnerable the next. He's got that wierd stillness about him that makes him extra scary , plus the fact he only seems to blink once every episode - if at all!!!
I hope he's back in the second half of the season, there are some other potential bad-guys in the Others but i think he's the best!

I have a feeling he will survive as he's so popular and really represents the Others quite well, he's intelligent, manipulative but he does show his vulnerable side - in my opinion most so when he asks after Alex. he knew he might die on the table so this was what he wanted to know before he died, he seemed to have a very fatherly attitude toward her, which I found very interesting. I still don't trust him, i don't really believe that he's sent Michael and Walt home, I don't belive he'll let Jack go, clearly he wants him to stay and join the Others, but he's a great character.

Ben is WICKED. My second best character. Didn't really like him at first, but now he is a main character he's wicked and very mysterious.

Ben´s my fav character. He can be so evil at times, but he´s vulnerable, too. Michael Emerson does a great job!

He's such an awesome character, love the way he's so precise and calculated. Seems to be effortlessly in control of just about every aspect on the island.

Ben is definaltey a cool character. one of th best new characters by far since th others were introduced to us. he creeps me out alot of th time with those eyes an thers a guy who works in my college who luks jus him.its very scary. anyway he's one of those characters ur jus not sure whether to love or hate but he is a highly intriguing (thas another word for interestin isnt it?) an well played character. i love his humour an manipulation an control over everything.the lines he's had have been great recently. especially in interactin wiv locke

I agree his interaction with Locke´s just great.I wonder how things will developed between them!Can´t wait to see his flashback!

ben is quiet brilliant,evil and scheming character.but im not sure he was born on the island i mean that cant be tru.any therories

I think he could be telling the truth about that, he's not that old really, maybe 40 or so? that would mean he was born in the mid sixties, that's possible, it would have been before Dharma were there, and maybe his parents were the original people to settle there? he's really developed as a character, I really like him now, he's still such an enigma!
