So, more Kiefer fun tonight! We watched Mirrors. Big deserted , fire damaged department store and lots of evil within. Mostly angry dead people. Kiefer becomes night watchman and lots of gory shenannigans ensue! Twas good - a bit grisly in places but good.

I just watched Hard Luck, which had Wesley Snipe in it. Was pretty good, I was sort of only half watching it so not entirely sure what it was about. Had these two completely bizarre killers in it who were really good characters.

I've not heard of that. I think the only Wesley Snipes films I've watched are the Blade ones....which I do love, but in a slightly embarrassed way.
We watched Children/The Children (can't remember) the other night. I was expecting it to be really poor but it was actually a bit jaw dropping! Not in that it was cinematic genius, but that it was a bit brutal. It was thin on plot - two families meet up to spend new year together at this big isolated house, and they're those annoying kind of middle class, Laura Ashley wearing yummy mummy brigade types , and their kids get some kind of infection. All these kids are younger than 10, and they go proper psycho and start randomly killing people. Nasty.
I think the only problem with it was that the parents were such tedious , organic, land rover driving, middle class idiots that I was rooting for the psycho kids to win.

Nice!
I quite like Wesley Snipes, obviously Blade is excellent! He's also really good in To Wong Foo... where he plays a woman. Or a drag queen technically.

Oh yeah, I think I remember seeing that ages ago Think I prefer Blade though, especially Blade 3 as it has Ryan Reynolds in it, pretty!

I've just watched Inkheart. Was alright. Interesting to watch from a writer's POV anyway. It's based on a book, about a guy who can bring characters out of books. Some of the characters are pretty dodgy, but there's a pretty blond fella in it! Worth a watch.

I watched the Unborn the other night. Not great, but I thought the girl in it would make quite a good Jess! She spends a lot of her time running around getting menaced and thinking she's mental

I've just watched Eagle vs Shark. Anybody seen it?! It's a New Zealand film, supposed to be a comedy but it made me cry!

I take it the title's not literal?! If it is , it sounds quite cool
I'm ashamed to say that I just watched Twilight - a direct result of being too ill to go to the video shop.... but even more painful was the fact that I *whispers* really enjoyed it.... oh the shame.

Does Twilight have sparkly vampires in it?! Cos I've heard that a lot. If so, that is the stupidest thing in the history of the world ever, and I refuse to watch/read it because of that!
Nope, it's not actually about an Eagle vs a Shark. It's about a man and a woman who meet at a party where they've gone dressed as their favourite animals.

The vampires are sparkly, but not very often. If they get in direct sun they a bit glittery, but it's not a major thing in the film.... maybe there's more made of it in the book!

How come they don't burst into flames when they get in the sun? It all sounds a bit poncey to me. Are they vegetarian vampires too?! I just don't like 'good' vampires!

Thing is, it's primarily a love story, so I think if they burst into flames all the time it would end the film a bit too early
Yeah, there are good vampires, but there's also nasty ones... and some werewolves. It is very daft! But I did quite enjoy it

Nah, not gonna watch it. Vampire love story?! Ridiculous. Vampires are supposed to be evil, not sparkly vegetarian teenagers! Pah.

They were all a bit pouty and pretty for my liking actually! But if you like Ben Barnes then they might be right up your street

Possibly! Depends how old they are. Ben Barnes was gonna be in one of the Twilight films apparently but couldn't in the end.
