Well Kate was exactly glad or wanted to see Jack. She only met up with him because he wouldn't stop pestering her with phone calls.

Yeah, there still seemed to be some kind of connection between them but it was like she'd cut him out of her life. You would wonder why though, what happened between them to make her cut him off, and if the him she referred to was Sawyer, why she didn't want him to know she was with Jack, I never saw the Skate relationship as one where she couldn't just be honest...

Maybe Jack is responsible for something bad happening on the Island and he wants to go back to change that. Yet that something bad has gotten everyone p'd off with him and Sawyer doesn't want anything to do with him.
Everything is a stab in the dark at the moment to be honest. Just glad Kate doesn't seem to want to have anything to do with Jack in the future.

If that is the definite future....maybe it's more like Desmond's flashes, if Charlie had died any of the other times that Desmond saw then he wouldn't have been in the Looking Glass at that time, so maybe it's not definitive, maybe it's just a possible future, and something can yet change it.

Yeah maybe if someone could see the future but I doubt things would change if they couldn't. You never know Desmond might get more flashes in season 4.

Yeah, that would be good, maybe he'll start seeing things off the island, and be able to warn Jack not to do something that he'll regret/will cause problems (so maybe we can still hold out hope that Jack will die) 
Kate did say something about not being able to change things, that's why I wonder if perhaps there is a chance that it isn't a definite future, maybe if they get to that point they can't change things, but where they're at in real time on the island they still can.

Way too long...personally I think the actors and writers should work a 48 week year like everyone else, just 4 weeks holidays, and the rest of the time they shoudl be filming.

loved this episode. and i agree with the fact that there were a hell of a lot more questions created than there were answers which is annoying.
i think that Jack is responsible for something bad happening because Kate really didn't seem to happy to go and see him - or maybe she has just come to her senses and realised what an annoying man Jack really is afterall

I have a confession to make...I only just watched this! Time sort of ran away with me and I never really got 2hrs to watch the whole thing... but. Wow...Have to admit to getting a little misty eyed at Charlie dying (ok, a lot misty eyed, but I blame the impending Jex split - for some reason Charlie reminds me of Alex!)
