What should happen to Charlie?
Personally I'd like to see more of the dark side, and for him to live. I think he will as well, or if he does die, that it'll be for a reason - Desmond has been predicting Charlie's imminent demise for a while now, and in the meantime Eko and Nikki and Paulo have died, so surely if his future seeing ability was that great he'd have realised the gruesome (yet marvellous) death that awaited the diamond thieving couple?
therefore I'd like to see him live, but a bit of tension between him and Claire could make for an interesting storyline.

Dark Charlie definately - his character at the moment is just half of one of the less interesting 'ships' - Clare's dullness is wearing off on him too much. If he went bad it'd be awesome...

Exactly, this is why I've always hated Charlie and Claire. Too poo.

I liked them at the start when they were having fun, the peanut butter and stuff I admit I thought was cute, but they've gotten too domesticated now, we already have a married couple in Sun and Jin, and their relationship as a couple is more interesting I think.

i voted survive and go back to the dark side - evil Charlie was the best
he had better not die or i will be very angry with the writers

I voted die saving someones life. I dont want him to die yet though, season 3 has been crap for deaths. Maybe season 4. But until then, I'd like to see him more like the original dark season 1 Charlie. I think it'd make a good death if he died saving Claire though.

I just want Charlie dead as quick as possible. I would like it to be a death that has some meaning though. If he survives which is very unlickly then i want it to be explained better than.
Desmond: "I was wrong Charlie, you arent going to die"
Charlie: "I knew that you idiot, now i can get back to smooching Claire like i wasnt about to get hit by lightning, drown or have my body crushed against the rocks by the waves."

A heroic death wouldn't suit Charlie but it would be good to see him die for a reason.

i have a question regarding charlie... and an observation...
he always seems to be putting claire down... she has an idea, he criticises her and sez 'that won't work!' she does something with the baby and he tells her she isn't doing it right... she gets help from someone else... like locke... and he becomes jealous.... he just seems possessive and overbearing... is this just british?
i just don't see it as a good, normal or stable relationship.... he just doesn't seem to respect her female intuition or thoughts....

Interesting point, I hadn't really thought about that as usually Jack is patronising enough for everyone in my opinion, but he certainly does become possessive really easily.

i love another viewpoint! i hadn't seen jack as patronizing! i always thought he was more supportive of kate and encouraging her to reach her potential... but at the same time, he does have a tendency to withdraw his support when she messes up!! thanks for another interpretation!!

I didn't read all of the posts above (Yeah I'm a bit lazy), but in general. I'd love to see the darker side of Charlie again. His character was much more interesting then, and that's one thing I can say that DOM hit perfect was the darker, druggie, obsessed man wanting a woman. I knew it would be cool whenever I would see him with his hoodie pulled up over his face.
