far more interesting than a game of golf! I think it's on a wednesday it's repeated, 7 o clock I think. I can't beleive Bugatti would let Jeremy Clarkson take a Veyron across Europe and not let Stig take it aorund the track, I'd love to see how fast it coudl go around the top gear track!

yeah but they beat big brother in the ratings which was excellent, and some of those that watched just for the crash will probably keep watching it.

Big Brother sucked this year. Just a bunch of rejects. I watched the second day and never came back
But yeah, i hope that they carry on watching it because they don't know what they are missing.

I never watch big brother, I just think reality tv is trash, all of it annoys me. I don't know what the ratings figures were for top gear this week but I woudln't be surprised if the average has increased a little bit anyway. The crash sure raised the profile of the show, although judging by the lack of slagging off this week regards the crash clarkson and may are sticking to their promise not to bring it up on the show again.

Yeah, they didn't really discuss 'cars' that much on the last episode was was a downer. Hopefully people won't judge the program on that episode.

Anyone watch this last night? Hilarious! The rednecks bit was amazing, the way they went for the camera crew and everything! And the credits at the end - did you see they all gave themselves a redneck name, and all the crew were named as "billy bob!" Brilliant!

Well that is a veery valid point, I think they really pushed the boat out for that one, the fact it was just the one long film - I bet originally it wasn't supposed to be, but when they were editing they just couldn't figure out what to leave out as it was all so good!
When Clarkson arrived with the cow on the roof of his car....and the way they all kept ramming into May for running over the roadkill....I'm still laughing now just thinking about it!

I read those as well, apparently Clarkson said in one of his newspaper columns that it wouldn't be back, what is the BBC thinking? Top gear got BBc2's highest ever ratings! Then again, I read somewhere else, might have been in the Sunday times somewhere, that ITV wants to poach it as the guy who used to be head of BBC Michael grade is now in charge of ITV and they want to regain their cool, and some people think BBC are wasting licence payers money with the expensive stunts (like crashing a train into a renault espace, I thought that was brilliant) ...I don't care what channel it is on I just want it to continue!
