How Did You Hear About LOST?

I first heared about it when I saw the preview on channel 4, where they were all dancing on the beach, most of you probably found out by a preview Razz

If not, how did you find out about it?

cant member i think i saw the preview aswell on one of the local channels and it said that its taking thw world by storm and well it has.

i first heard about lost from the channel 4 previews where they were dancing on the beach as well .. that was such a great preview Very Happy

Yeh, that was an awsome preview, LOST turned out completely different to what I thought it would be like, tbh I did'nt even think it was about a plane crash Laughing

We got it before channel four herein Ireland, on RTE2, so i never saw the channel four preview for it, sounds pretty good though!

The preview here was as bloodytrockgod said, all about how it was taking the world by storm, and it showed the cast in the plane as it was going down, then the beach and the wreckage, said it was the no.1 show in loads of countries it was being shown in. They started showing the preview about a month before the show started so there was a big build up, delighted I decided to watch as I really love it!

Yeh im really glad I saw it too, I have never liked a show as much as this, before LOST, I used to watch crappy soaps like Eastenders! Razz

Yeah i used to watch eastenders too, but it wasn't lost that made me stop, just the fact the storylines haven't been much good lately.

I'm looking forward to xmas but it's hard to deal with the fact there's still two months till Lost is back!

luckily its only for a month, back in january Very Happy

I'd rather wait longer for the shows to come on I think, and not have to deal with breaks, it's very annoying. 24 does it without breaks, it starts in january and runs till june, then doens't start again till january again. it works better that way, we don't need shows to start in september if there's going to be breaks. I think it changed the way Lost was written as well, they wrote it as a collection of six episodes this time rather than how it woudlu have been if they had written it as an entire series, and it showed.

One of the lads had it on dvd watched it and loved it

my mum made me watch it one evining lol

i knew it was on tv, but the idea of people crashing on a island didnt apply to me!lol but then i watched episode 13 and was amazed and went and brought the first half of the first series, and now i love it!! Very Happy

First saw a trailer and thought I'll give it a go. Glad I did.

was hooked as soon as i saw the preview, also saw an article on the programme bout a week b4 the show started in the sun paper

i heard about lost from one of my friends that was at uni and then bought the first season of dvd's to catch up! been hooked ever since!

I'm ashamed to say that I have been purposely not watching lost because I didn't want to get caught up in all the hype about the show.

I finally broke down a rented the first disc of season 1....and the rest is history. I have a full-on obsession now.

i saw the preview on ch4 n actually fort it wa guna b sm sort of reality show lol cud i have been mre wrong!!! im glad i was wrong tho lol
