Hm. I'll reserve judgement til I've seen it. I hope it ends up with Desmond saving the day rather than Jack though, in the end.

Yeah, that's definitely a positive of the way it's shaping up, it looks like what Desmond does is really important...

Yeah, Desmond is cool, I was delighted watching the episode yesterday when I saw his name come up as I was afraid he wouldn't be in it much! Seems like his episode last season "The Constant" is going to be quite important in the grand scheme of things too...

Yeah overall it's been better than i thought it was going to be....maybe it's for the best I had low expectations, but I have been pleasantly surprised!

Yeah me too!  Though I think it's the lack of Jack that's made it better, I'm sure it'll start to give me more rage once it turns into the Jack show again.

Well, yeah, if it's all about him then it'll be annoying...the scenes with him and Ben in the second ep yesterday weren't too bad though since Ben was clearly the one in charge!

Yeah they still annoyed me. I just want to punch him every time he's onscreen! I think those eps show though, that Jack doesn't really have much of a story or add much to anybody else's story and they could in fact kill him off...

Yeah, I was thinking about this the other day when I was watching Fringe (the new JJ Abrams show, it's not bad, very X-files) - it's got a strong female lead character, and I was thinking that Lost was better at the start when he was involved, when he left Lindelof and Cuse and their Jack loving just got way worse!

Didn't JJ Abrams do that other show... can't remember what the hell it was called. Alias! Did he do that?! That had a strong female lead didn't it? I didn't watch it meself.

Oh yeah, that was him too! No, I didn't watch it either, think I saw one or two random episodes i it but hadn't a clue what was going on really, but yeah she was another strong female lead. Pity some of his influence didn't rub off on the other pair...

Yeah, though hopefully it won't be as bad this series...I mean, I've seen other forums, sure there are loads of Jack-lovers out there, but there are plenty more like us who hate him too!
