Not seen the film yet, soon I hope! Just been looking at the website. There's a quiz on there that will tell you what your daemon is. I got a lion! Thought that was cool. The quiz tells you what it's name would be and everything. Anicetos my lion's called. Weird.
There's a cool little thing you can do, if your friends answer the question for you the daemon changes... I done it myself about myself and it changed to a spider!!

I just saw this last night, was pretty good! The bears looked good and the daemons looked ace! Lyra was pretty good too actually, like I imagined her. But they cut a chunk off the end! In the book doesn't something happen to Roger? I won't say what for people who've not read the book!

I'm sort of stuck two thirds of the way through Northern Lights - not as gripped as I thought I would be.

sorry for the double post... I went to see golden compass today ... I honesty didn't like it at all! ... I thought Lyra was cast nothing like I imagined her .. infact the only character I thought worked well was Mrs Coulter. And they muddled everything up just to have a big fight scene - oh and what was with the ending?! I was sat there screaming at the screen!! where was the dramatic ending?! that's my favourite part in the book! and when they kept calling the panserborne 'ice bears' <that annoyed me!!
anyway sorry for the rant! had a lot of steam to let off!

I saw the film today as well. I thought it was alright, but some parts were rushed and others missed out completely. It felt quite a long film even though not a lot actually happened.
