who is your least favourite character?i posted this topic on watchlost.com and it was quite successfull so i thought i would ask you guys. who is your least favourite character that makes you just want to scream at the tv whenever they come on ... i think mine has got to micheal because i still havn't forgiven him for what he did to poor libby and ana-lucia. whos yours?

Well bernard is a very boring character but i dont particulary dislike him. He just doesnt do much for the show

I suppose we need to differenciate between characters that we don't like because we love to hate them (the way I feel about Jack) and Bernard say, who as lost_maniac says no one really likes as he doesn't really contribute anything except maybe that I feel less respect for Rose as i thought she'd have had better taste in men.
Regards ones I don't like I still don't trust Libby and I have a feeling she will turn out to be a spy of some sort, and of course my feelings about jack have been made clear so i won't bore you by going into it further, there's a topic devoted to it in this section lol!

Ok, mine has to be Locke - he may have an interesting backstory, but i hate his character, he just really gets on my nerves - he thinks everything revolves around him, after we've found out why he was in wheelchair, then he can die for all i care, and yeh, Michael was a bit evil too - he didnt have to kill libby and ana-lucia, killing them was pretty pointless

it was, and I bet that there are consequences for it - I'm sure he'll be back at soem stage, maybe not until the later section of this series though.
I don't really hate any of the other characters, Locke intrigues me too much, and I think he's learned a very important lesson and will improve now.
I think soem characters shoudl be expanded as they don't seem as important as others - Jin and Sun maybe, though the last episode was very revelatory regards them, both in the flashback and the workings of their relationship, plus Sun shooting someone. I think Sayid needs to be explanded more as well, he's become a bit of a cliche, only needed to do missions and torture people when i think there is a lot more to his chaaracter which we saw when he was with Shannon, it brought out a much softer side to him, plus he's connected through Kelvin to Dharma and the Island.
Charlie is a prime example of this as well - as he doesn't seem that important (I know I'm going to be shot down for this so I'd better explain) - he doesn't have any major connections, doesn't seem to be connected to the island or the Others or Dharma or anythning in any way we've seen...and yet he is an integral part of the island community and was one of the earliest characters to get a flashback episode (the moth) so he must be important, i'd really like to see a major Charlie revelation soon though, he is a great character and has a huge influence on Locke, Claire+Aaron, Eko, Hurley and others, plus he proivides very necessary comic relief, so I'd like so see soemthing about him that will blow my mind...don't worry, I don't want him killed off or anything, I was way more upset when I saw him hanging from that tree than i was when Boone died. I just think there is a lot of scope to do more with his character.
I like kate and Jack (ish) and Locke and all but I think the others shoudl be given a bit more development. The biggest one in this category is Claire- as maternity leave was actually an island flashback we've only had one single Claire centric flashback and i really want to know more about her, we don't know if she has connections, though there are suspicions she might be Jack's sister, and what is special about the child? was the psychic really a psychic (as in did he really see something about her and Aaron, I know he was a fraud in general) or was he working for Dharma/the Others, and why did they lose interest in the baby after Ethan was killed? First they were so desperate to have her back they wanted to kill someon every day, and then suddenly they forgot all abotu her, and took walt, and then later let him go and took jack and Kate and Sawyer. It's strange to say the least.

well i thought bernard and rose wer suppose to regulars in se 3 but having siad that they havnt shown the lostties on the beach so far, so ya 4 me still its that olf fart dentist bernard.

I think Rousseau is a really good character and should be made a more frequent one! We NEED her flashback!! :]

i agree we need to find out more of what happened to Rousseau i think her story would make a great flashback.. i really hope that it happens in season 3!

i think Rousseau is great as she is so intriguing and I'm sure there is more to her than she has indicated, i don't believe half of what she says.
As for Sayid, why does he annoy you? Is it the torturing in his past? I must admit I was annoyed he way underestimated the Others and they got away with the boat, i was disappointed in him for that but overall he is a great character, but I think he could do with a little more romance in his life, he was sunnier when he was with Shannon. I lookm forward to him getting together with the new and improved Locke now.

Apart from the obvious Bernard , I think Clare is my least favourite character. Mainly cos all she does is bang on about how "they're trying to taaake her bay-baaaaaaaaay" . I guess you can include Turniphead in there too, that baby's always crying!!

i agree her last episode was really good... i think her character is getting better as the show progresses because i didn't like her at first but now i'm starting to warm to her (even if she has been kissing charlie grrrrr)

Haha, i wanna know what else has happened in her past. And find out more about her ex boyfriend. As im sure we've all seen how his paintings relate to the ones in the hatch.

I hadn't noticed that, I really must have a lost-fest and watch seeason 1 and 2 togethover a weekend, my sister did it and she says it's great. Really want to see more about Claire, as they've left it so long I'm convinced theremust be a big connection

i can't stand juliet she really bugs the hell out of me i think its that creepy smile that freaks me out and i find her to really annoying....ok i will stop now or i will be ranting forever lol

Yeh, I dont like Juliet either, she's just not trustable. I really like Ben though, to start with, I did'nt like him at all, and was hoping he'd get killed off, but I've grew to like him, maybe its because he's connected to Alex somehow

Yeah when he asked about ALex and "did she ask for me" it was the first time I think that we got to see a genuine other side to him, it wasn't manipulative at all, it was very vulnerable and I think it could be important, I don't think they will kill him off now as he's really getting developed more, I don't like him but but I love to hate him kind of thing, and I was intrigued to see that opther side to him, but he's done too much bad stuff for me to like him yet anyway.

Evil Charlie is a lot better than standard Charlie though.
