This was really wierd. But seeing as lots of people have said that episode 7 was a lot to do with time, i wouldn't doubt it saying that. Wasn't there are rumour that ghost Walt was talking backwards as well?

Jacob is the guy from the bible (bear with me, i've had a bit of a religion change since we learnt this stuff at school!!) who was Joseph's (and the technicolour dreamcoat) Dad. Not sure what his relelvance is, but I'll have a look for it later on (at work at the mo!)

I think Jacob's father or mother, not sure which, loved Jacob more than his twin brother Esau, and they had a big falling out over it. There's a line something like "Jacob I have loved ,Esau i have hated..." - this is coming from an atheist who was brought up in a new age religion though so I might not have that right!

Hmm...not sure how that's gonna fit into Lost but it may well be relevant!

I found this quote on wikipedia talking about Jacob's mum Rebekah -

" she was to give birth to two children, who would become the respective founders of two very different nations"

Interesting - apparently Jacob was the studious one and Esau was the outdoorsy type. Esau was also the first born and had patriachal birthrights according to law, but Jacob bought his birthright from him when they were older. Perhaps Jacob wasn't in charge originally and fought his way to the top ...or maybe it's hinting that there are actually two sets of Others.....

That really would be interesting! The one Kate had breakfast with was pretty evil as well though, the handcuffs and "the next two weeks are going to be very unpleasant", maybe there's two evil twins!

Seriously though, that really would be interesting and well worht considering, the twin theme has been in it for a while - remember the title of the book Sawyer read?

I've just remembered! Jacob was not only the father of Joseph, but also had many other sons, e.g. Simeon, Levi, Asher, Dan, Zebulum, Gad, etc. (or so the play says). His youngest son and most loved other than Joseph, was.....

wow, well remmbered bus! There is a biblical theme running through the show, a lot of people have misinterpreted it as meanign they are in purgatory, but it is worth looking at the references!
