scrubsi noticed there wasnt a topic on scrubs so i thought id start one! i love this show, its so funny! are there any other fans here??

Yep! Another fan here! Its a great show, and its my type of comedy! Its gotta be my favourite comedy show!
Zach Braff is awsome!. . . still havent watched garden state though!! but yeh, scrubs is awsome! Definately 1 of my top shows

garden state is good but don't expect it to be anything like scrubs, it's a bit intense but a very good movie I thought!
I love scrubs, think it's one of the best comedies ever! Doctor cox is my favourite character and I love Jordan as well, plus the janitor. Elliot is cool when she isn't being too soppy and Carla is great when she's being mean! Did anyone see the Wizard of Oz themed episode? |

I haven't seen it in ages now, the new episodes aren't on tv yet here, might rent out the box sets to keep me going till that happens! |

RTE are finally showing the new series of Scrubs! (I know I download or stream some stuff, but I have to pay a TV licence anyway so I like to save a few shows till they are on TV)
It's on in a couple of minutes, can't wait!

Rented the first series earlier this week though, and have the second for this weekend, it's great watching the old episodes! Hilarious! I love this show. |

Been watching season 7 recently then decided to watch season 2 then 3, still loving the show just hope the strike stuff doesn't spoil it all. For some reason Elliot is my favourite character now and not Dr Cox though to be fair all characters are brilliant in it. Must be the most underated show in television. |

My favourite has always been Cox, I quite like Elliot as well though, I like all of them to be honest! janitor is brilliant! Haven't seen any of the last series, yeah the strike is really starting to cause problems - I support the writers and what they want, but it's going on a long time.... |

Yeah well the problem regards to the strike with scrubs is that its the last ever season (why god why?!!) and because of it theres a risk that it won't actually have an ending.
But yeah theres not many characters I don't like either, they are all really different and special. Really going to miss the show when it ends (why god why?!!) |

yeah, would be a shame if there wasn't an ending.....
As for the why, I wish it would keep going as well but I think Zach Braff smells a career in movies.... |

As good an actor I think he is I believe that would be a bad career move, he should stick with scrubs if it was to continue. I couldn't imagine him in any other role. |

I thought he was brilliant in that film he directed (can't remember the name of it), maybe he's into directing as he is his acting, but I haven't seen him in anything else apart from that.
Just looked up the name of the film - Garden State. Natalie Portman was in it too. I really liked that. |

Haven't seen it. Good that he's into directing as much as acting though it'll be hard to replicate everything he's done in scrubs. |

He's directed a few epiosdes of scrubs as well, I remember noting his name come up as directing it in the opening credits a few times.
Ah yeah, here they are: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zach_Braff Garden State is well worth a watch as he really does play a different character to JD, he's this guy whose father medicated hi for years so he goes around in a bit of a daze all the time and then his mum dies and he slowly wakes up to himself over a few days hanging around his old town with mates he went to school with and a girl he used to like and still does (Natalie Portman) - sounds a bit like a romcom maybe from that synopsis but it really isn't, it's pretty quirky and fun. He wrote it, directed it and plays the main character. |

Yeah, haven't really seen Elliot or Carla in anything else, Doctor Cox pops up in loads of shows for an an episode or two (he's hilarious in the film Road Hogs!), Turk used to be in Clueless!
Right I'm off now, if the hair looks awful I'll be back in half an hour, otherwise back monday at some stage! |

I love Scrubs too! Seriously, there's going to be another? I thought Zach Braff was leaving? I've only seen the first two episodes of season 7, been saving them as I thought it was the last series! |

Well word is that Zach is all for it, which is good since he seemed to be the biggest obstacle. I dont know if its 100 percent confirmed but its from very reliable sources.

Yeah its th only comedy I really like other than classics like Only Fools and Horses, Fawlty Towers etc. It would be such a shame for it to end.
I don't care how much they need to pay Zach Braff to keep doing the episodes they should do it

Well it wasn't really a question of money but considering it took paying him a million for each episode (I think) made for season 7, I think it helped

I thought Garden State was brilliant!! he wasn't really anything like his character in Scrubs....it was a pretty deep film in some ways! |

I think it's a great film for that! It's more serious, there's laughs but not in the same way as there is in Scrubs... |

yeah, I'm sure it's out there on veoh or something. He is, I'd say he's got a bright future ahead of him. he's directed a few episodes of Scrubs too, and I think he wrote and directed Garden State, so he's got a few talents. |

Yeah thats one of my favourites along with "my musical", the ep where Dr Cox gets traumatised over 3 patients dieing with rabies and the last ep of season 1 that I cant remember the name of. |

Yeah, I selfishly want him to start his own spin off if scrubs ever ends. His and Elliots characters make me laugh for than any others for different reasons. |

it's a decent film, the role he plays in it is brilliant though, he's this really effeminate gay cop, the whole film is a laugh but the scenes with him are probably the best!
