Someone apparently did up a spreadsheet and calculated exactly how many seconds of screentime each character had in S4...here's the result:

I'm surprised that Jack wasn't more actually. He'll be up to 50% next season!

I bloody hope not! There's a huge difference between Jack and Locke though, when you consider the storylines Locke should have had more time! And Sawyer is on for less than half the time Jack is!

Mind, that's not bad for a dead character I suppose!

Is there one of these for the other seasons too? I bet Jack's top in all of them.

Didn't see any on that site....no, just checked, or the original one where it's posted. You're probably right though - well, from S2 onwards, I'd say in S1 it's pretty close...

Just been reading the thread on the site where there was posted and there's some Jack hate going on there too, so it's not just us thankfully!

Also did a search to see if I could find other screen time info and again found the same thing only on a different forum and again there's a fair bit of Jack hate!! So obviously the writers need to listen to the fans more.

Yeah, those shows they have at the start of the new seasons where they talk about the cast have really shown him up as a Jack-fan, you'd think if he likes him so much he'd have the writers do a better job with his character though! Twisted Evil

I don't think they listen to the fans at all, they have people read the major online forums I'm sure but I think they ignore what they don't want to hear...

I didn't mind Juliet as much when she wasn't fawning over Jack...though unfortunately she did do quite a lot of that!
