It's supposed to be a Hurley episode, I quite like Hurley episodes, as I think there's more to the character than might be assumed - there's his connection with the numbers, which certainly seemed pretty big in season 1 and 2, as 3 was more about Ben's lot he didn't figure as much, but now that Dharma are back on the scene it might come into play again.
Loved his "Hurley to the rescue" moment at the end of S3 as well, he's going to be feeling really confident - though when he finds out about Charlie i think that'll go, he'll be seriously upset.

I think Hurley finding out about Charlie's gonna be tragic  They tend to do death quite well on Lost - when Shannon died and they did a memorial it was really sad so I think all the Charlie stuff's going to be quite heart wrenching...
On a happier note , I'm glad the first episode's not a Jack one, woo hoo!

I know! Let's all take a moment to rejoice about that! 
Yeah, death is handled pretty well, i think Desmond and Hurley's dealing with Charlie's death will be more important than Claire (she's just going to wail a lot I'd say, how did we not know straight away that she was jack's sister? They're really alike!)

Yeah I'm not too bothered about Clare wailings either! But Desmond and Hurley's reaction will be good (in a tragic kinda way)

Yeah. there's bound to be a lot of Jack pontificating about various kinds of crap....but at least we won't have to put up with him in the flashes as well as the island scenes!
Can't have enough tragedy when it's well done! It's a 2 hour episode too isn't it? (well, an hour and a half when you take the ad breaks out of it)

I hope we get some Sawyer in there...he's not featured much in the promos so I think I'll have to wait a few eps *sulks*

I'd say we'll see a lot of him all right - all that stuff about them being the good guys, yet he won't go into any details, he's so delightfully manipulative!

Hello everybody.how u all been.? hav u missed me? u probably dont even remember who i am its been that long since ive visited here.now do my eyes and ears deceive me or is it true that Lost is back THIS SUNDAY!!? i had no idea at all itd b back so soon.well ok not exactly soon we've been waiting flippin ages i no but becos i dont actuly hav sky ive not seen any promos or anything for seson4 so it came completly out of the blue when i saw it in the tv guide.

I'm really looking forward to this now, if i wasn't so wrecked I'd be tempted to stay up really late and try to get it online at whatever ridiculous time it'll be up, but I just don't have the energy!

I really don't know if I'll be able to hold out till hubby gets home from work, I did all the shopping this evening so that I'll be able to come straight home after work tomorrow! Will be really hard to avoid watching it seeing as I'll be looking for the vids all over the place!
Think it's going to be a really good episode!

That is ridiculous!  When I first found watchlost.com I was desperate to get the posts done, and it's a good thing as we all on this site came from there originally!
I just can't decide....don't want to put him in a bad mood by not waiting but I have zero willpower regards that stuff!

My fella doesn't even watch it! I made him watch the pilot ep and he said it was ok. Ok?! Madness! He's not watched anymore.

Yep! I wasn't too impressed with the season 2 or 3 openers, but I have a feeling this one is going to be good! They way they kept it to seperate groups - raft/hatch in S2, kidnapped/beach in S3 annoyed me, but from the promos it looks like everyone will be in this episode, but it's Hurley-centric which sounds good!
I wasn't overly impressed with the first few episodes to be honest, I liked it but didn't think it was the best show ever, there was an awful lot of hype by the time it got here and I thought it was good, but not great, so tie him to a chair and make him watch the next 10 or so, he'll get into it!

Glad that it's Hurley, he's one of the few characters in it I actually still like!

I can't stand Jack, Kate, Claire, Juliet, Sun, Alex... Sawyer lately too, but hopefully he'll start getting good again. Sayid's not in it enough, neither's Jin.
Once we've seen the ep can we talk about it in this thread or start a new one? I don't want to ruin anything for anyone!

Start a new one - might do it tonight actually, create a new forum for "current episode" and a new thread for those who have seen it. Don't think I'll bother with the "rate the episode out of 10" stuff this year, not many people ever voted.
I don't like Jack, Claire's not great but I don't mind Sun & Jin, really like Sawyer, Locke, Ben, agree Sayid isn't in it enough, Kate was one of my favourites until the last few eps of S3, so hopefully I'll like her again soon. Not a fan of Juliet! Desmond's pretty cool though. And I'd say Danielle will be in it more now.

Yeah Richard too, forgot about him! And I love Jacob!! I love the trippy stuff. So there are quite a few characters in it I still like. They just don't get enough screen time.

Aww thank yee all for being so nice and welcomin me back into the coupe. i cant believe i only found out this week that r LOST is back.if it wasnt for me buying that magasine id probly stil b none th wiser.i mean i new it was due back sorta some time around late jan/early feb but i had no idea itd b given a date, wheneva i tried to find out eveything was jus realy vague about it an wasnt ther all these queries bout whetha it was actually comin back cos theyve not finished filmin an what not.is it true we'r only gettin 8 episodes as well.? anyway its back now, nearly an thas all that matters, no more being deprived of a sawyer fix.he beta feature a decent about in this ep.evn if he acts a pratt i jus need to hear that sexcy voice.no all i gota do like most of u lot is make the discission of when im actually gona watch it.tommorow or wait till sunday? or i cud meet in halfways and watch it saturday i supose.thers nuthin else good on tv anyway at the weekends really an im not doin anything so ill hav plenty of time 2c it wheneva. Hey on a totally different note how to all feel about heath ledgers death?! tragic isnt it.we thinkin suicide or not? god im stil writin too much in my posts.sorry guys.
