It's made by HBO in collaboration with BBC, it's not bad, lots of intrigue and blood and guts...and being HBO, lots of sex and bad language! 
Vaguely sticks to historical accuracy, but not too much, there are characters at the top and characters who are just ordinary people.
I like it, the first series kept my attention and the second seems good enough so far...
