i loved this show, I remember watcing it when it started and not totally understanding it but as a teenager it was one of my favourite programmes and so it remains, I love Craig Charles best in it as well, so strange watching him in corrie (not that I watch corrie, but I've seen him in it), it was such a funny show, I miss it, must get the dvd box sets and watch them all - I presume it is out on dvd?

It sure is. I always loved craig charles in robot wars, that was cool and he rocked in this.

I was never all that into robot wars, I didn't dislike it or anything but I was just never bothered with it.

I thought all the characters in Red Dwarf were great, Cat was brilliant and I loved his backstory, Kryten was hilarious and Rimmer was so annoying he'd make you scream at the screen, but the actor who played him was great at that kind of character (can't remember his name but he was similar in the Brittas Empire)

I loved this show until they brought in Kochanski, who totally blew the dynamic of all the characters. It was much funnier when it was just the original four...

yeah, I was a bit anoyed by her as well, it wasn't the original actress who played her either. Still a great show though, I'd watch it again if they brought it back!

Yeah, so would i! I bought some of the boxsets when they came out and rewatched a load of them. I'd love to get the whole lot!

Any particular episodes you really really loved? One of my favourites was the backwards one, where they drank and fought and did everything in reverse! Plus the first episode, I'd seen it for a while before I watched that, and it helped make sense of it all. Also loved the ones where Lister tries to teach Kryten to lie. Not to forget the ones where there's bizzare space-time-continuum errors, like Lister being his own father and learning how he's going to die....so many wonderful episodes

I love the one with the Polymorph - the thing that feeds on their emotions and makes Cat turn into Dwayne Dibley!! Think that one cracks me up more than any of the others!

I love Red Dwarf! My brother's got it all on DVD so I went and watched them all the other day. Craig Charles used to live near me, fact, fact fans! Razz

Argh, I have to get the box sets, thankfully my birthday is in April, hopefully I'll be able to wait that long...amazing that I hadn't htought about it much in ages, and suddenly when soemone brings it up I'm going crazy thinking abouthow much I've forgotten!
