I'm going to be generous and give the eppy a 10/10, it probably deserved a 9 or a 8 but Locke, Sawyer and Ben are some of my favourite characters and I loved the roles they played in the episode. Great that for another episode we hardly saw Jack again and when they did show him he was behaving like a complete snob and total jerk.
Some things were a bit dodgy, like with the start things seemed to be cut. It made no sense that Kate & Sawyer were just getting it on after their problems with it last time and Desmonds group automatically being in camp.

9/10 for me - it was great in so many ways but lost the mark for Kate being annoying.

9/10 - loving the Sawyer stuff (could he get any sexier?!!) but as AR said the minute or so Jack was on the screen with Kate made me want to pitch my TV out of the window!!!

It was pretty good all right, I just don't know how I'm going to cope for months without Lost - as you say there were a lot of issues raised in it and I just know they'll leave it on a major cliffhanger, I'd say we'll learn a lot but many more questions will be raised....

i think season three has been a big season for answering questions - we learnt more about the others / why they wanted claire / who jack's sister is / why jack was needed by the othesr / who the real 'sawyer' is / why locke was in his wheelchair

I'm perfectly satisfied with the amount of answers were getting especially lately. Unlike a lot of people I really enjoy the amount of questions that keep being brought up in the show it keeps things interesting.

yeah, and i like it when it turns out that they kind of did have a plan and reason for everything that has happened - either that or they make up very good situations that fit in well!

Yeah I like the questions as well, and we are getting plenty of answers, it's just that they then create more questions, it's great! I think they do have a lot of it worked out but some stuff probably is just week to week writing as well...

10/10 from me! Looks like LOST is back at its best! There wasn't really anything I didn't like in this episode - apart from Lockes dad. I fealt like punching the screen quite a few times. He was just so irritating, im glad he's dead

Yeah I got that too, when he started taunting Sawyer I was shouting "shoot him" at the screen...(unlike Locke I hadn't copped the gun wasn't loaded) and then when I knew the gun wasn't loaded I wanted him to stab him...nice death in the end though! He really wasn't a nice guy, made Ben seem reasonable really!

I really wanted to punch him too especially when Sawyer almost cried
I still don't know what to think about Sawyer killing him, it's sad that he had to do it.. I'm just glad cooper is dead too

Before the episode (because I read some spoilers) I hoped that Sawyer wouldn't kill cooper, that he decided to just let it go. But after hearing the things Cooper said and saw the way he was I was also shouting "Kill him" he was such a jerk! I wonder how it'll effect Sawyer from now on, its certainly a life changing experience for him.

I think it was good, I wanted Cooper dead and it was great to finally see that resolved (that he was original Sawyer as we'd all speculated about it for a long time) and I didn't mind the idea of Sawyer killing him, he'd always wanted to and it was nice to see him get that closure, though I'm sure it'll have an effect on him, but he really didn't give himself a chance (cooper) with the way he spoke - taunting Locke mgith have worked as he knew how to play him but the way he spoke to Sawyer was never going to get the same reaction, he underestimated him and paid for it.

Yeah I think he got too cocky with himself because he used the same kind of talk with Lock and he wouldn't kill him. It was a big mistake to provoke Sawyer as he was probably even worsely effected by this guy then Locke had been.

Locke had the connection that for a while he felt he'd found the father he'd always been searchign for, and he coudl never accept that Cooper had betrayed him, hence he destroyed his relationship with Helen and never let himself move on because of this, he always kept a bit of loyalty to him - he never told the rich woman's son what Cooper had done to him, although he did then warn him off, it was yet another attempt to reach out to him as much as anything else.
Sawyer was never looking for anything from him except a chance to kill him, so the emotions concerned were very different.
