OlympicsAnyone interested?
I like the short races (100m, 200m) and stuff like the high jump and long jump, don't have the patience to watch the longer ones.
Then there's the whole scandal over China's human rights abuses, though I think if that's such a big issue to so many people they should have protested more about Beijing being given the Olympics in the first place. That said, what China does in Tibet and to its own people is disgraceful. it's not the athlete's fault though.
Might watch a bit of it though mostly it's on at unsociable hours.

The one on BBC?

Yeah. I sometimes watch the judo actually, but that's only if it happens to be on while I'm around.

Yeah, I actually get quite annoyed when it completely takes over the TV schedules with all the crap events! Not that there's much on half the time anyway, but still!

My bro tends to watch it a fair bit. I don't really get what the point of it is.

I used to do athletics at school, was reasonably good at the short distance running running & high jump, so that's why I'm interested in that side of it, apart from that some of it is silly.

I was crap at all that sort of stuff! I have really bad reactions so when the gun went off for the races, I'd wait til everyone else started running before I went!

I find it really dull - and I hate the fact that it takes over the TV for weeks! I think i'm just bitter as I've always been crap at sports, so I just don't get what people find fun about it...

I love the Olympics though I guess thats just because Im involved in that side of things... although I do admit a lot of it is boring to watch...
I like the athletics & rowing best probably...
