New top ten!What with all the characters gone and the new ones come into the show in season 4, I figured people's top ten favourites would've changed a bit!
So mine are (with no dead characters) -

Cool, Locke? I would've thought Ben for you, I know Sawyer's lost it a bit this season, I think he's lower down on my new list that he has been in the past too. Kinda sucks that neither of us have put many female characters on our list! Just Danielle for both of us!

Yeah I had to ponder between Locke and Ben for a little while! I just like Locke's completely crazed look this season...and I love Ben's psychotic poppy eyed thing.
I did almost put Sawyer at the top of the list , but then realised that although he makes me drool he's not done anything too cool this season, just been a little bolshy. So he lost out to Locke!
All the female characters are too dull to include apart from Danielle

I did almost put Locke on my list but there's something about him I don't like! Not sure what! Ours are pretty similar, I just have Daniel and you have Locke!
Yeah, they need better female characters.

Yeah, they are pretty similar! I'm still not sure about Daniel, although I did like him more in the most recent episode so he may climb the list yet...

He annoyed the hell out of me in the first ep, but I like him now!

I'm gonna give him a couple more episodes yet. I really didn't like Desmond when he first came into it, but I really like him now!

Don't really know if mine have changed, probably not.
1, Jack
 Yeah right
1. Kate (Still the only strong female character on the show and still kicks ass when not caught in love triangle scenes)
2. Locke (Should be fulltime leader and I see him as the main character at the moment since Jack's gotten so terrible that he's totally insignificant)
3. Ben (Locke and Ben scenes are one of the reasons the show is so great)
4. Hurley (We're seeing a lot more emotion from his character and he's still comedy, has a good friendship going with Sawyer)
5. Sawyer (Character is a bit in decline but still hoping he'll eventually give Jack a hiding)
6. Sayid (Not enough screen time but he makes good use of it)
7. Alex (Lacking good female characters but for some reason I like her)
8. Jin (Still funny now and then and that makes up for his uselessness at other times)
9. Desmond (Still cool character but character went stale quite a long time ago now)
10. Miles (Tries a little too hard at being a hardass and is semi annoying but still has had a couple of decent moments so far and is different)

I didn't like Desmond when he was all about the hatch, but since all the spooky psychic stuff I think he's great!

Yeah, I liked all the "You're gunna die Charlie" stuff...
So Xarca - Kate still no1 then? Even though she seems to be stuck in the same character rut as Sawyer?

She probably doesn't deserve to be top, but being hot helps her.
And to be fair how many characters are also in a rut? I think you can say that about everyone bar perhaps Locke, Ben, Hurley and the new guys.

True. Hotness almost put Sawyer on the top of my list but Locke being much more interesting this season stopped him!
I think they could thin the cast out quite a bit this season and not lose much. Clare, Sun, Rose, Bernard... they could all go . Jack should go too, obviously, but we all know he won't *sigh*

Yeah they can kill half the cast for all I care, at this point in the story I only really care about certain characters.
I think Sawyers character will pick up again, he just has to have a lengthy and important storyline that doesn't involve the rubbish he's stuck in atthe moment, same can be said for Kate.

Yeah, they need to have a really decent episode each and they'd be back on track. But I think the focus seems to be on the frieghter people at the moment, I hope they don't neglect the main characters too much...

Well Kate's episode is next but I'm not expecting much (since I know half of what happens)
I don't really mind watching the freighter people for a while, they are certainly a lot better than Paulo and Nikki last year. Somethings bound to kick off sooner or later though, can't wait for the real action to begin.

Ooh, a new top 10.....I agree there's a lot of characters stuck in a bit of a rut, and the female characters are a bit weak in general....let's see....

That may change as I get more used to the new characters, I don't dislike them but I'm just not sure enough of them to include them (except Frank, he just seems cool)

haha your right there A_R i dont know why but im not usually a big fan of the main-main characters if you get what i mean..like jack/kate/sawyer..but there in there somewhere

yeah sometimes the ones we don't know as much about/don't get so much screentime are more interesting than those that do - Hurley has always been my favourite, and he didn't get a flashback for ages in the first season, I wasn't even sure if he was going to get one!

i agree the characters with less screentime are more interesting because theres still so much more to find out about them, like hurley doesnt have many flashbacks each season, but when he does have them there great..
and other charcters like jack..i think we see a bit too much of him!!

Most of us are with you on that one! I think the fact he's had so many flashbacks that haven't told us anything new makes me even more annoyed at him!

I don't like him on the island either but I wouldn't get so insanely angry at him if he hadn't taken up flashback time that could have been better use don someone else

I think any new members would be freaked out by all the Jack-bashing that goes on here and would run away and hide! Bloodyrockgod has been standing up for Jack a lot recently though....

When you realise the episode yo've been waiting all week for is a Jack-centric one containing flashbacks that reveal absolutely nothing, do you:
