hgfhfgi say eko because he like has built a church for people and is doing his best because he has kept his faith unlike locke as he lost his in the series 2 finale

I think Eko is as he has come through the hard way, but he always had fait - faith is about a deep sense of yourself as much as anythign to do with a God or higher power. Eko had faith in the universe when he shot the man as a child in Nigeria, faith that it was the best thing for his brother. He believed in the goodness in Yemi and this was a kind of faith, and when Yemi was killed he struggled with his faith as he took over his dead brother's life, but the meeting with the australian girl who saw Yemi on thye other side, plus finding his brother's plane on the island took away his doubt. This is the kind of struggle that Locke has more recently gone through and once he does come trhough it I think they could be formiddable allies.

Shall I say Locke just to be the odd one out?
I haven't lost faith in his faith because he's the sort of character that suprises you, everything about him is twisted and you don't know where you are with him so I think he'll surprise everyone soon.

He was once my favourite character but i dont like how he made himself so convinced he was right when we all knew/find out that he's wrong in the end

Yeh it got on my nerves when he threw the computer on the floor - what gave him the right to choose for every1 else? He really annoys me.

Especially after we've just seen the Desmond flashback and we already know that the button is real, then he goes and ruins it, ohwell, it made a good ending to the finale :]

He's so impulsive, I think that's one of his problems. he latches on to things very quickly - whether his mother, his father, helen, call-girl helen, the bush trail thing, the island, the smoke-monster, the button, whatever. he is desperately searching for meaning in his life and tries to fidn it everywhere and anywhere but if he woudl just relax and stop looking for a reason all the time then maybe he would find one. he felt betrayed by the button the same was as he felt betrayed by his father, he lost his faith and wanted it gone form his life, but if he had stopped to thionk it through we would have had a very different conclusion. I mean, he could have just not pressed the button, destroying the computer removed the option of pressing it, whereas if he just hadn't pressed it when everything went pear-shaped he coudl have just typed in the numbers to the violently vibrating machine and it all would have been okay again. locke is an extremist in that everything for him is extreme - faith, lack of faith, emotions, whatever. He is a marvellous character but he can be damned annoying at times too.
