Any fans of this here? i love it, saw it from the first episode. Not sure what's going on, but it's great tryign to find out, last weeks's episode was fantastic, shame there's only going to be two series but there's no way it'll drag, and I think it'll make it an instant classic - as long as the ending is good! I love the distinctions between the way things were done in the 70's and now, and how Sam tries to change that - btu Gene Hunt is the best character, he's hilarious.

i love this show its so good! i loved the first series and the second is really good so far! cant wait to find out what happens when he gets back to 2007! Very Happy

Great, another fan! Yeah, it's a great show - I loved the end last week, that just threw everything wide open, there are so many other possibilities now! I can't wait for tonight's!

the upcoming episode looks like it'll be a bit corny as well - undercover cops pretending to be called Tony and Cherie Blair!?!

lovely more corny stuff! the episodes are rather predictable now though, Gene Hunt thinks someone is the bad guy but turns out to be wrong, sam figures out who it really is and then he gets a 'phone call' at the end - still good though !

yeah, i think it is a bit predictable like that but most cop shows are, and it stops the attention from focussing too much on the case rather than the mystery - I think each phone call reveals a bit more, makes me wonder every time, really looking forward to tomorrow's episode.

i cant wait for the next eppy! it may be a bit corny but i still think it keeps getting better! shame its the last series though Sad

yeah, i think they'd get three out of it, it's an intriguing enough storyline, still, at least there's plenty of episodes left, and it's been such a success I'm sure the writers will get to do more shows after it's over.

yea it is a great storyline, but i think 3 series would have been good, although we wouldnt find out what has actually been happening to him!!
im guessing the obvious, that hes in a coma! Very Happy

i did think that, but I'm really starting to wonder now with the phonecalls. It adds a whole new dimension to it, makes me wonder if there's more to it.

yea there could ba a surprise in store!! i just thought it was the doctors talking to him and he could hear it through the phone, i also luv it when people on the tv suddenly talk to him, i think thats great!! Very Happy

yeah it was more creepy in the last series when the girl from nightscreen or whatever it was called then started appearing and talking to him, it hasn't been as scary this series, but it's more mysterious.

just watched the last ever episode, i thought it was amazing!!
i think it was a great way to finish the show, so glad he was in a coma and loved it when he jumped off the building to go back!! Very Happy

I liked it too, was so annoyed at morgan in 1973, loved the way that he switched the radio off at the end! Really enjoyed it, shame it was only the two series though! They should make a christmas special!

i read somewhere that they were planning to make more series, but the lead actor, john simm is it? said that he grew up in the 1970s and didn't enjoy being back there!

Did he? I read that he didn't like spending so much time away from his family. Typical anyway, I thought it was great! I'm sure it wasn't really that great for people who were there but they made it look excellent on the show!

He was great, if John Simms doesn't want to do another series they should just do a spin off without him! Gene hunt and the car can be the stars!

yea i heard that on the radio, they are doing a spin off with gene hunt as the main character and its set in the 1980s! should be good to watch Very Happy
