I thought this ep was really really good. It had quite a lot going on so i'll just talk about that for abit now :]

I think that after seeing the sun/jin flashback, and how jin acts on the island, that jin already knows about sun cheating on him (possibly finds out in the next flashback). Because on the island he acts very uptight about sun being with or listening to other men. As we saw with her and Michael and now her and Sayid.

Sayid again reveals a bit more on how skilled he is at torturing. When we talks to sun about capturing 2 hostages, and using 1 to get info from the other. As far as we've seen so far, Sayid has only done a bit of torturing, so i presume in the next Sayid flashback we will see how he has gotten so experienced.

At last we see more of Alex! I'm a little annoyed it got cut off so soon with her leaving, we barely found out much at all. However because we find out that the dress is hers, i think she was probably not with the others because she was captured, but she was with the others because of her choice. And thats why she had proper clothes. Though i believe she must have found out something so that she would want to escape from them.

I loved the skate moments in this episode. The was sawyer looked at kate, and the music in the background before the kiss. Wonderful :] And i thought it was pretty awesome when Sawyer started kickin' ass, he took loooads of them on. Shame it got cut short but ahwell. The conversation Kate and Sawyer had near the end was really sweet. I'm so glad its finally happened with them.

So we're just left wondering, what do Ben and the others want Jack to do, or see from their point of view. I know the next episode is mainly about the hatch etc, but i hope we get to see some more others action and we can find out about what's in store for Jack and hopefully have some more wonderful skate moments :]

i thought this eps ws boring sorry boss gotta say it as most sun/jin flashbacks are.i knida felt asleep wenever they had a flashback otherwise in kinda enjoyed everything besides that.i think the ending ws pretty good wen ben tells jack about red soxs winning the series, lets see wts the catch now what is he up2.

I do agree about the sun/jin flashbacks can be quite boring, but this one revealed quite a bit i think

I kinda do, but i tend not to really care with what happens between them, they're not big enough characters if you ask me

ur rite they r not lets see what happens now after all sun did shoot picketts girlfriend or wife or wtever she is.

It's gunna be so annoying when they end it on a huge cliffhanger after the 6th ep, and then we have to wait for it to start again

that suks 4 me dnt know what sort of pleasure they get when they do that that suks.the show will return in feburary that truly suks.

Nice post Lost_Maniac!

I must say i do like Jin and Sun and I was impressed by what was revealed in the flashabck. Though I feel sorry for Jin I have to say the way he treated Sun m,eans he brought it on himself.

I also loved the kiss and the way Sawyer took them on, but also the way, being typical Sawyer, he then acted like he did it all just to suss out their fighting capabilities. Although they were talking freely in the cages I'd say they'll figure out that they're being monitored.

Great to see Alex and as you say, she isn't treated as a prisoner, but I think the fact that she was taken as a baby is responisble for this - as far as she knows she is one of them. I got the feeling that maybe the dress and possibly other priviledges were taken from her as a consequesnce of her relationship with the guy in the cage.

I loved the bit where Ben told Jack about the sox winning the series....great stuff, I wonder what it will be that they will want Jack to do? I have a feeling it will be like it was with Michael - they'll want him to betray his friends in soem way, whether that is kate and Sawyer or the ones back on the beach.

All in all a much better episode that Tale of Two Cities - the flashback revealed soemthing that most of us had an opinion on one way or the other (I admit I was wrong) and the episode revealed a lot of stuff about the Others - if we believe Ben was telling the truth, though we know what he told Jack abotu off the island was true. Compelling viewing and I'm really looking forward to the next episode now - I'm dying to know what happens to the ones at th ehatch.

Finally - what the bloody hell was Sayid thinking? he seriously underestimated the Others and I'd say he'll be out for revenge. he shoudl have goen back to pick up Locke, Eko, Charlie, Desmond etc and left Sun behind.
