^^Trailer.
I saw this at the weekend. I'd been really looking forward to watching it - genetic anomally giving a guy the ability to jump from one location to the other....sounds right up my street! Was pretty disappointed though. The main character wasn't likeable, or even unlikeable - I just didn't care what happened to him. I kept waiting for it to get good and there were some funny scenes, but in general it wasn't great.

It kind of looks like one of those films where they fit all the good bits into the 30second trailer!! Think I'll give it a miss!
I saw Cloverfield at the weekend though and that was brilliant. Maybe I'll start a thread...

Yeah, think all the good bits were in the trailer!
I was about to say something about Cloverfield but I'll do that in your new thread!

It's the guy from Star Wars in it isn't it? I always thought he had a really emotionless , odd style of acting. Doesn't exactly lend himself to the action hero role!

Yeah, that's the one. He was pretty dull all right! I just ddn't care...and the love story thing was unnecessary.

Definately one for the 'No thanks' pile then!
And "Jumper" ??! They could have come up with something better - makes me just think woolly jumper...

Yeah, the title isn't great but I thought it looked good in the trailers - turns out the film wasn't any better than the title!

I've just finished watching it! I know what you mean about Haydn Christensen, I couldn't have really cared less what happened to his character. I liked Jamie Bell's character though, thought he was far more interesting and we never find out what happens to him in the end! I didn't really get why the other dude just left him there! And what was that cabinet thing about that he was so protective about? What did that have in it and where did that even end up in the end? It's like all the actual interesting stuff was sacrificed in favour of a love story... Though I like Rachel Bilson, so I don't blame her! It's based on a book, so I don't know how loyal to the book it was. Still, I thought it was ok!

I've heard it wasn't even remotely loyal to the book, except that there's a guy that can jump...
Yeah, he's just a terrible character, the other jumper is way more interesting, much cooler, and we don't find out anything about him!

I know! He just starts to say 'he killed my parents when I was 5...' then the main bloke nicks his thingy and off he goes!

Would have been a mch better film if it had focused on him!
