i dnt get it is jin dead or alive.
but another good episode
glad to see michael aka kevin johnson back.
and also sayid played along with him.

It's weord. I can't seem to take a screen cap of the tombstone but on the left hand side there's 1980, 3, 20 written down the side. On the right there's 1974, 11, 27 in the first column, then 2004, 9, 22 in the last. 22nd September 2004 - isn't that the date the plane crashed? if so that would suggest that Jin isn't one of the Oceanic 6 after all - though maybe there isn't anyone else to come, maybe it's baby Aaron is counted as the 6th. So it looks like he dies some time between the present on the island and when they get off it - but then again, maybe he isn't dead, maybe he is still alive on the island.

I was well P'd off when the last segment of the flashforward came on - so Jin's sections were actually flashbacks, and it seems to have been put there for no good reason except to fool us. I like twists and turns and intrigue, but that seems to be a bit lower quality than what we've come to expect from Lost. Confused

Good to see Michael but it was a really brief scene and we all knew he was the guy on the boat. Sayid did well (of course) not to react to him. An ok episode, but not great.

and a flashback on jin's
intresting now i get it.

I suppose she was calling for Jin because she was delirious and desperate....only reason i can think of....Dunno why Hurley, maybe he's just the nicest of the ones that get off the island! Laughing

and also he's one of the oceanic six.
and i remember when he goes to the hosp
to congratulate the consular and the nurse asks him y was he leaving so early
he said it wsnt his baby he was only married two months so he needs time.t
that also proves it was a flashback.

yeah, that's what I was saying about the flashback but maybe he isn't one of the Oceanic 6, maybe it's Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Sun & Aaron....

true.but Aaron wasnt really on oceanic 815 was he.
he was conceived later on the island, so that leaves ben as we
know that he will leave the island coz we saw him in sayid's flashforward.
so if he cud have escaped somehow i dnt know?????????
and claimed that he was on the plane.

Yeah, I suppose it's hard to be sure what they said about Aaron - by his age they'd probably have had to pretend that Kate was pregnant before she ever got on the plane, don't know if Ben could have pretended to be on the plane unless he took over someone else's identity but I have a feeling he found another way off it, I don't think he'd want his face to be recognisable like the faces of the Oceanic 6 were....

Anyway, I'm off to watch it again now hubby is home from work, might have more of an idea after seeing it a second time. Be back later! Very Happy

although now ive read some of the posts in this topic it does make sense that it was jins flashback & suns flashforward...and i thought this show could not get more confusing!!! Laughing

glad to see michael back though..will be interesting to see where hes been all this time Smile

this has to be officially the most confusing eps

I actually didn't think the ep was confusing at all, just generally a bit crap.

Totally unimpressed. It's like they were trying too hard to fool us. Stoopid.

Apparently the dates on the tombstone are Sun's DOB, and Jin's DOB and DOD.

Yeah, that's what I thought...I've come to expect better than that somehow, it seemed a really cheap way of trying to fool us.

I suppose that would make sense regards the tombstone...

I did like Jin's rage in this ep though, it cracked me up! When he was yelling at the bloke in the taxi.

Yeah, that was funny....the whole thing just pissed me off though. Falling for something because it's a great plotline is one thing, being manipulated for the sake of it is something else. The rest of the episode was grand, some good scenes even say when Sayid was talking to the Captain of the boat....the flashes just annoyed me though.

Yeah... there were good bits I guess. Sun and Jin making up was sweet (shades of Jex methinks!) and I actually quite liked Jin and Bernard on the boat.

Yeah...I've always hated Bernard but he was ok in this episode , to be fair. Jin forgiving Sun was a good scene, I was watching the first few episodes last weekend and it reminded me how much I hated Jin at the start, and those scenes reminded me why I like him now.

In general, I felt annoyed after watching it though.

it's a weird one though....maybe he'll die on the island, but at the same time his tombstone says he died in the crash, so maybe he's still alive and on the island, can't imagine why he'd not have left with Sun though now he knows everything.

what did i tell ya guys sun/jin flashes are annoying.
but u r right about the island and frieght scenes
they were great.captain is awsome dnt know y did the doc
said to sayid and des just dont piss him off.

i'm bored with future flashes, it's just too confusing for me. i dont understand why the writers would waste so much time just trying to confuse us with past flashes and future flashes. baby doing good, born on 28th, not leap year baby, his name is Cairn. thanks to everyone for congrates

No, we don't know yet whose funeral it was or whether it'll be one of the Oceanic 6....there was a lot of speculation at the time that it was Michael....

ok guys so u now how ive tried to b lil miss positive bout pretty much all the episodes of this season so far and try n get u lot to stop complainin an jus be glad we hav lost. well i have to say i think im about ready to give up on that now and join th ranks of current pessimisim and dissapointed that seems ti b goin on here.i am now officially peeved off with lost.weve had 2 consectetive episodes now that hav basically been crap an jus al load of ole twaddle that we dont really need to know about boring characters an to top it all off neither of them hav had any Sawyer to brighten things up and no before any1 tells me so that pointless 3seconds we saw of him at the enc of last weeks episode does not count.

Good episode for two shockers:

- Jin is gonna die
- Michael's back and has had a haircut

Rest of the episode was like most Jin/Sun eps and was rather lame. I personally wasn't really confused with anything in the episode, which is a real change from usual.

Was also good to see the Sun slap back in action, really missed that since the one on Sawyer.

of sun and jin and she wants her to get of the island
so she can have the baby abd she did so dnt know y stupid sun

oooo just watched the episode! I actually really liked it! ... I wouldn't think I'd be bothered about Jin dying (cos I kinda knew ..) but then when it came to it I wished he wasn't dead ...

and he isn't! Well I don't think he is anyway! I think he just didn't get off the island, that's why his death date is the date of the plane crash
