In the pilot...In pilot part 1, we see Jack wake up and run out to the beach. Now to me, it really looks like he sees something to his right. Because before the camera pans round to the crash, Jack stays staring to the right for quite a while, this leaves me wondering that if he did see something, what could it have been
I know he was probably just in shock so staring round wondering where he is, but it's possible right?

Indeed it is, it could be that he's kinda' forgot about it and/or was so over-whelmed before that it slipped his mind, that's why he's never mentioned it maybe.

I'm thinking maybe he could've seen an other running into the jungle. The only other that would be there is Ethan, which is possible as Ben did send Ethan to the losties as soon as he saw the plane.

thats a good thought i think he may have seen an other but didn't realise who it was and he was probably in shock

And if he saw them run into the jungle, after hearing screams coming from the plane he would've been distracted so wouldn't have chased them

Nice theory. Sounds interesting but it sure looks like Ethan had a couple days of running before he got to the camp.

No way, he would have got there soon enough, don't forget we saw how fit and super-strong he was in All the best cowboys have Daddy issues - he took Claire and Charlie, managed to drag them along ahead of Locke, Jack, Kate and Boone, got Charlie hung from a tree and then kicked the sh*t out of jack - Ethan would have taken longer than Goodwyn did to reach the tailies but he'd have got there on the same day.
Good theory that it may have been Ethan he saw coming through the jungle, there has been so much stuff about the monster is supposedly visible in his pupil and all but I'm not convinced, seeing Ethan - or perhaps soemone else - might make more sense

I presume Ethan knows his way through the jungle etc so it wouldnt have taken long for him to get there, also, we dont know how long Jack was laying there for before he awoke
