Good PeopleI dont usually come up with theories, but heres 1 I recently came up with.......
Ok, u all know about the "good people", maybe by good, they mean healthy, they captured Jack, Kate and Hurley, but released Hurley, y didnt they release either Jack, Kate or Sawyer instead? Maybe it was because he was overweight, so he would be useless for there experiments, but then again, y would they of wrote his name on the list - so this sort of proves my theory wrong lol. Also, Goodwin said that Nathan wasnt a good person, thats why he wasnt on the list, when Ana asked Nathan where he had been gone all that time, he sed he'd gone to the toilet, maybe he was telling the truth - he could of had a bladder problem or something lol, so he would be useless for the experiments if the others only need healthy people.
Feel free to post your thoughts and prove me wrong

I think you have a good idea going there, i dont particulary believe it, but its all good =]

I think that the others are more complicated than just wanting certain people cos theyre healthy/good for experiments. I think they chose Jack, Kate and Saywer because of what they've been involved with on the island, or their life before the crash

I like the idea that it is all about our interpretation of the word "good" as it really can mean so many things, (it mist be a nightmare for foreigners to learn the English language lol), it could mean healthy as you say domaholic, it could mean that they are the lesser of two evils (if so who is the greater evil - Hanso? Widmore? Marvin Candle? The Losties though they don't know it? Danielle?) or it could mean that they are working toward a greater good which involves the "means justify the end" way of doing things. any othe rpossible interpretations for the phrase we're the good guys?

Its whether the word means good in the sense of someone being a good person in life/on the island. Or in the sense of like.. good for experiments or whatever the others have planned

i think that it definitely has something to do with if they were "good" in life/or on the island because they seem to take people who havn't done anything wrong... but then why did they take Kate and Sawyer who have both killed a man? i have just completely contradicted myself lol

that is it, and Ben said ana was bad because she killed Goodwyn who was just minding his own business but he had just killed nathan who might not have been good but hadn't actually doen anything on the island so that was hardly the case...plusw they think Eko is good, so is that because he has a good heart (as we saw he saved his brother from a life of crime+war), because they think he's a priest, or do they know he was a warlord and child soldier or what? the Others are so full of contradictions...and why did they want Michael to bring Hurley anyway, why were they so insistent, when it could have been anyone if they were just going to send him back? If they have a plan/laws or whatever they are very strange ones
