Yeah they do look quite good. I couldn't watch the Kate/Ben one very well, it was all jerky. We so know what 'weight' is gonna be lost out of that chopper!!

Cool! I hope its a good finale...I've found this season really disappointing and I'll be gutted if the finale sucks too!

Yeah I thought this season's been a bit meh. Couple of the guys at work have gone off it too and I've been trying to talk it up so they carry on watching it so I still have people to talk to about it!!

Yeah I've really struggled to carry on watching this season! Actually, I still haven't watched past one of the finale... should probably do that tomorrow...

I've been forgetting it's on! It's only when I come on here and see the posts on a Friday that I remember! I think it's changed too much. I don't like the flashforwards and all the Jack. I always liked Lost because of the island stuff and the flashbacks and the fact that there wasn't just one main character. I don't really like the off island stuff. I always presumed the rescue would happen right at the end of the show and then that would be it!

Yeah I think that's what changed it for me too - all the freighter stuff and the off-island intrigue really doesn't grab me - where's the smoke monster and the polar bears and that kinda thing?!
I know they have to keep changing it a bit to move the story on but it's almost like they've chosen a couple of characters to focus on and left the rest as background - filler for when they're not doing off-island stuff. And I think I'd still feel the same way if the characters they concentrated on were my favourites too, when you've had three seasons of questions posed about loads of different people, to suddenly ditch two-thirds of them seems really pointless!

Yeah exactly! I was ranting about that at work the other day, that they'd killed Danielle off. What about all her story?! It's like they've scrapped it all to make way for all this new stuff.

I was gutted about Danielle too, especially as they'd promised a flashback for her. But they never really explained her at all.
I think what bothers me the most is that we now know they can get off the island. Whats the point of having a show called Lost if they can be found at any point! It's like they've thrown the whole mysticism angle they seemed to be going for at the beginning and turned it around completely to some corpotate evil and political guff. Rubbish!

Yeah, that's what annoyed me. I know it's the obvious thing, to have them be rescued at the end of the show and end it there, but that's what I was expecting to happen and I'm sort of annoyed that they've been rescued and yet the show's still going on!
If you try and say on certain other sites that you didn't think an episode was too brilliant, people get a little funny...

Yeah, I've given up giving my opinion on some other sites - people can get very very rabid about certain characters and the show in general.
I've always loved Lost, but it's not so great at the moment, it winds me up when people are blindly unable to let other people have an opinion if it differs to theirs.... the usual retort is "Well, why are you still watching/ posting on a Lost website?"

Yep. I still love Lost! And I'll watch it til the end, but I'm not blinkered by it! I can see when an episode is rubbish, or filler, or when a character is going downhill. People think you say things because you have something against a character or something, but I said it about Charlie, that his character got crap towards the end, and he was my favourite character! So... I dunno. I think the finale does look good and I hope it will be! I'm really hoping it won't be a huge Jack-fest.

So do I! Sawyer's gone massively downhill this season and although i've loved him previous seasons he's just been getting on my nerves in most of the episodes he's been in.
And I really hope the finale's a good'un , even with all my Jack gripes aside (and I know i have many ) we have really learned enough about him at the expense of some other characters. I hope that the finale's more island-based.

I hope so. I think it will be from those sneak peeks. I don't see as there's much more to learn about Jack either, even if I liked him, I'd think he was getting dull now! And I'm really starting to hate Kate now too. She's been watered down completely. The only female character I like in Lost now is that new woman, Charlotte. But I've got a feeling she'll be watered down... she already has been a little, especially with all the Dan stuff.

Yeah, Kate's turned into a considerably lamer character than she was . Just a romantic interest rather than anything in her own right. Which sucks big-time, she was strong and independant at the beginning and now she's just Jack's puppy.
Charlotte's okay...she's not as evil as I hoped she'd be though

She's had a few evil moments, I think I'm hoping more than anything there though! She'll probably turn out to be lame.

I don't bother going on any other lost sites anymore...don't always agree with you guys about episodes but at least we can have a good debate about it, some people don't know how to have their opinions disagreed with. Used to have some fun with that on watchlost but it got tiresome....I love the show, I quite like the flashforwards and the stuff between Widmore and Ben, but I agree there have been a lot of weak episodes this season so far and the Jack stuff annoys me more and more. Still, maybe season 5 will focus on what happens to those left behind on the island more.....
