I'm just watching it now and at the mo I'm wholly unimpressed. What a giant load of sh*t. It's still playing as I'm writing this. *yawn*
Alright, just finished watching it. I fastforwarded massive chunks of it because it was so unbelievably crap. Worst episode ever, and there's been some duds. Every time I fastforwarded it there was Jack, move on, more Jack, forward it again, oh yes, more Jack.
So full of holes I don't even know where to begin.
Scuse my language but it was absolute bollocks.
edit: Forgot to say that Frank is so unattractive without the beard.

Only just watched it....agree, about all the Jack. it had some potential, the Ben stuff especially....a few little mysteries like how Sayid& Hurley got there, Frank being the pilot, what happened to Aaron....and then they spoiled it with all the jack.
tell me this - what kind of hero sticks his grandfather in a home when the old man clearly has all his faculties, and hates it, and jackass is rich enough to give him other options???? Arsehole. Not even going to apologise for the language, as I've toned it down a lot from how I just said that to hubby.
Also - Kate appearing at Jack's...clearly in a terrible state, something awful has happened, and the way she kisses Jack is pure hungry desperation. Rather than show us anything about her, we see loads of his smug face.
but still...I liked that they'er now back on the island.

I missed all the Jate stuff, thank god. Missed the Grandfather stuff too, cos I stopped it, heard mention that it was his grandfather, so I forwarded it on again! I mean, what a pointless load of crap!
I hated how they got back to the island. I hated all the 'parallels' with the pilot. I hated pretty much the whole thing. Apart from Ben.

I didn't mind the parallels so much...just hated the Jack stuff, which there was so much of.

I didn't like it because it's like they're trying to get the show back to how it was at the start, when it was good. When really it's too far gone for that.

Yeah, maybe. it could work if they use it to explain stuff. I suppose I'm the eternal optimist! 
Once I saw Jack on the island we started imagining ways for him to die...plane landing on top of him, polar bear, falling off a cliff, being pushed off a cliff...I mean, he's back. he can die now!!!! So at least that was fun, even thought most of the episode wasn't.

He can die now but he won't!  I hate that his character's supposedly so important, because I really can't think of a reason why he is!

No, I can't either! it's never been explained, they just have boring crap...if they'd developed him and a conection to the island properly maybe I wouldn't hate him so much!
