Ep 5 -This Place is DeathLove the smoke monster stuff!! That man's arm coming off?! Gross but funny as all hell!!! Though I doubt it still would've been there when time moved on, an animal probably would've run off with it.
Missed most of what Danielle and Robert said to one another, cos obviously she was going to shoot him so I had to look away and missed the subtitles! Still think it was stupid killing her off.
Not finished watching it yet...
Edit: Just finished it. I love Jin!! Love Miles as always. Jack, even though he wasn't in it much, managed to make me hate him even more. And I can't even remember now what he did/said that made me feel that!
What I don't get it why the off island stuff is so far into the future?!

Jack was super-annoying - he tried to explain to Sun why he left Jin behind *yawn* I was yelling at the computer screen so didn't hear all of it! 
Was good to see Danielle's backstory, yeah it would have been good if they hadn't killed her and given her a flashback instead, but I'm glad they're telling us at least.
Robert was trying to get Daniell to put the gun down, she said the monster had changed him, that he wasn't robert anymore. He finally convinced her to lower the gun then he pulled trigger on her...yeah the smoke monster stuff was very good!
I think when Locke moves the wheel and gets off the island it's a few years later - when we saw Ben's flashforward last year when he appears in the desert he asks what year it is, so it must be a bit random - Locke probably winds up a few months before all the off-island stuff is going on...
Much as I hate Jack, interesting seeing his dad again! I'd much rather learn more about him...
Figured Charlotte was going to die but wasn't too bothered, glad they explained her conection to the island though.

I'd accidentally found out that Charlotte was gonna die, bit annoyed about that! I thought her backstory was suddenly rushed through as she died.
Yep that's what Jack did! God he's a git.

I've avoided the major spoilers, but it seemed like she was suffering most from the nosebleeds so I had a feeling she wouldn't make it....yeah it probably was a bit rushed.

If Miles has been on the island the next longest I hope he doesn't die! Though I guess now Locke's moved the wheel it'll stop.
I don't get why everybody going back to the island will make such a massive difference.

I'm not 100% sure myself but I think that somehow they're each others constants....like Desmond would have died if he hadn't got in touch with Penny that time....so because they're split up and can't get in touch it's bad.....though maybe it's something to do with what Jack's dad said to Locke, that he was meant to do it rather than Ben.

Either it did, or Danielle just thought it did - Robert might have tried to shoot because he thought she was the crazy one! I think it was the smoke did it though, since Robert was being really defensive about it, saying it's not a monster it's a security system for the temple....

I'm not sure if they do meet actually, isn't he one of the ones that stays at the beach when she goes with the rest of them to the radio tower? I can't remember!

Then how does Jin know where the radio tower is? And when did they go to the radio tower?! I don't remember that!

Oh yeah, how would he know? It's when Naomi is there at the end of S3, i thought Jin was one of the ones that stays on the beach to trap the Others...well, he might know because I think they (him and Bernard and Sayid was it? Yeah, sayid, I remember the scene where he breaks the guy's neck! ) were meant to follow on after the rest of them to the tower?

I could be wrong about that bit....it's too long since I watched it, don't really remember. Suppose Danielle might not have recognised him anyway, as she wouldn't expect him to still be the same age, plus she was slightly crazy by the time of the plane crash....
