I just had a thought - I don't remember how it went exactly so I could be really wrong - but there's a "he" or "him" referred to regards Kate in Jack's flahsforward at the end of S3 - what if that's not a boyfriend or anything, but if she was pregnant, and it's her son???? Like I say I might be way off, it just occured to me...

I just think Kate's more feisty and cool when she's around Sawyer. It's a bummer that she changes according to which bloke she's with, but thats the way it's been written .... which is why I prefer the whole Skate thing, if it has to happen at all...

from that flashforward she seems to have shunned him....

She and Sawyer treat each other badly but it's a mutual thing, they each recognise the other as an equal, whatever else goes on between them - with Jack there's too much of a sense that he wants th e"little woman" to come home to with dinner in the oven, and as we saw from the episode "i do" there's no chance of Kate ever being that for long....

And no Xarca, you haven't said that here before, I would have read it! Laughing

Which is annoying because she's a strong enough character not to need either of them. In fact I think her character becomes less interesting because she's so caught up in the triangle - I don't think we've seen much of her personality in recent episodes , it's all been related to the Jack/Sawyer thing....

Hopefully we'll see more of Kate being the Kate who managed to survive several years on Interpol's most wanted list in the next episode - I agree too, the whole triangle thing takes away from her, and she's the only really strong female character in it really...

Sawyer's not a hillbilly and Kate' snot trailer trash - you used to hate Jack as well BRG!

Kate killing both would be nice even though I do like Sawyer. Can't see it happening unless I get a writing position on the show though.

i just hate her character just like u hate jack.
her character has really become boring not going anywhere at all
still deciding between the two leading men since season one.
her flashbacks are pathetic as her character.
i think she is really lucky to survived so long on the show,
considering some new characters on the show,

I agree she's gone downhill but there's still the feisty Kate from S1 in there, there's soem good new characters but I don't think there's a really strong female one...well, maybe Juliet to a certain extent, but she's very different. And I don't like her! Laughing

Yeah, she's gone from promisingly sinister to submissive, which sucks. Although that would make it all the more awesome if she was evil all along... don't reckon it'll happen though!
