DVD Flashbackon the season 1 DVD there is a flashback with Claire where she talks to the pilot, he mentions his Mum used to go out with a guy called Bernard who then got really rich after the relationships finished. I think he was an inventor rather than a dentist, but is there any chance that it is the same one? We now know he and Rose are only recently married, and he must be rich if he could so easily come up with the $10000 for the faith healer guy
