Biggest surprise of season 1What were people most surprised by in season 1?
For me it's a toss up between Locke in a wheelchair, Ethan being an Other, Hurley being a millionaire and Sun speaking English, but I'm going to go with Sun spekaing English, it was just such an amazing moment when we found out.

i think im going to have to go with Locke being in the wheelchair its just something that i would never have expected to be honest especially as he can now walk lol

I loved the Monster ate the pilot bit!!! Although I would have been even more impressed if after his pilot entree he'd eaten Jack too, heh heh

The things that shocked me most, were probably kate being a fugitive, or meeting the polar bear, so I voted for Kate it was completely unexpected, but then again, I wasnt exactly expecting to see a polar bear

apparently that was the original plan, but when they showed it to one of those focus-group thingys they said "Oh god no, you can't kill off Jack...." and so it came to be that we were stuck with him.

I voted for Boone dying. It was unusual for a top-rated series to kill off one of it's main characters

I voted Ethan being one of the Others ...
Wasn't expecting that at all and was amazing when they realised he was one of the others and just Charlie and Claire in the jungle staring at him.
That was Awesome.

my biggest suprise of series 1 was when i found out that jack was supposed to be killed off wather than the pilot in the 2nd or 3rd episode of season 1
