before anything even my life jack bauer comes first, i love this show nothing can beat 24, its one crazy day for jack as they say but he always saves the day in the end. there r five season to date and the sixth is in production which will air early next year cant wait.

Kiefer Sutherland is a God (I've loved him since Stand By Me and The Lost Boys) and this is a truly fantastic show. I'd recommend watching it form the start though if you haven't, (downloads available all over the net and the box sets are available in all dvd shops) as things like Jack's relationship with his daughter are pretty complicated and you need to understand them to get his character.

BRG, I'm a huge fan of this show too, can you believe RTE never even publisxcised the fact they were showing series 5, I was so annoyed I just downloaded it in the end. I can't wait for january but I am actually thinking of waiting until June and watching the whole thing in a day, it's an intense experience but well worth it! How are they going to start it off do you think, with the way the last series ended?

will do yeah, i hate rte and it breaks my heart to pay 155 euro a year for a tv licence, and I hate reality tv in principle, I don't have sky so can't watch it on sky one, I think i will just wait until june though and then watch all of the series over a real 24 hours, i did that with the second half of season 4 and it was a great way to watch, seriously intense but bloody brilliant, and it was cool not having to wait a week for the next episode.

had a look at the site and will be back to look at it again on the 24th, do you really think it will eb jack trying to escape from a chinese prison/forced labour camp though? I just don't know if there would be enough stuff in that, and they couldn't have him fly back over the pacific asw it would take too many of the 24 hours.

whatever happens I'm really looking forward to it, I hate it when people say it's better or lost is better as they are just so different you can't compare, I lve them both

thanks for the clip but i couldn't bear to watch it again, i was pretty much in tears when that happened as well, it was bad enough they killed off David Palmer and Michelle but when Tony died it was just too much to take, he was such a great character, a true friend of Jack's, from the first series when they didn't really trust each other and were kind of fighting over Nina and now you see how far they came they could trust each other absolutely and risk their lives for one another and it was just so sad...

Really looking forward to seeing the trailer, it better not be one of those things that only lets you watch if you're in america, I'd go mad, yeah, big mystery around season 6, lots of new characters I'll bet, I really hope Chloe is in it though, I think she's the best of the ones that are left, she's really funny but she'd do anythign for Jack. Glad Wayne palmer is back too, he's a good character, not as idealistic as his brother, more flawed, but still one of the good guys

I read that a Philip Baeur was going to be in it but didn't know who he was, Jack's Dad, that sounds good, any word on whether Kim will be back? I always liekd ehr character and was disappointed she wasn't in the last two series much, I know her movie career was beginning to take off but she hasn't been in anythign lately so you'd think she'd want to appear a few times at least, maybe the appearance of a grandfather will help that. I thought she was best in season 2 but I like her character and it was such an important part of season 1

yeah,. that's what I was wondering, I mean even on a really fast military jet you're talking about 8 hours from eastern china to western usa, on a normal plane it's more than 12 hours and that would waste a hole lot of hours of the show, unless Jack's already escaped and on his way when the show opens and he tells how he escaped, or there is a connection between the terrorists and a city in China he escapes to, or if not China then somewhere in asia at least like indonesia or malasia or somewhere he could get to in a couple of hours, I think there's more atttacks and they get more mental every seasons, i thought the terrorists stealing the warheads in s4 was pretty good but they did top it with Logan's involvement in s5

maybe some of the action takes place on a plane, maybe he escapes and endds up on a plane and then finds out it is going to be taken over by terrorists and has to try to contact CTU and stuff and find out who the terrorist on board is before they get near the States, i don't know if there woudl be enough material there for the amoutn of hours it takes to fly across the pacific but it could be.

Or maybe Waybe Palmer is on a state visit to China as President and jack hops aboard and gets a lift back - Air Force One goes pretty damned fast as far as I know!

Jack looks all jesus-like with the beard, looks like they already have him on a plane, and then ask him to sacrifice himself - just because he's willing to do that though doesn'tmean he'll die, there's so many times before he nearly died...I know Kiefer can't keep doing the show forever but I hope he does more than one more series!

Yeah I loved the trailer and season 6 looks brilliant but I think I might wait until it's finished and watch all 24 episodes over a day over a weekend. I've only got season 1 on dvd but hopefully I'll get s2 for xmas, build them up slowlly one by one until i have the whole collection!

Have you played the playstation game? I just got it out this week, it's not too hard(I'm not very good and i've nearly finished it without using cheats) but the storyline isn't bad considering it's a game and not a real show.

Season 1 was really great but I loved season 2, think maybe it had the best plot with all the twists and drama, it hasn't been the same since s3 as Nina's dead now so we know she won't be popping up anytime now

i do know this that there will be a 24 movie out in 2008 and it will be based in london as a thnk you 2 the british audience 4 there support for season 1 and 2 as it wsnt that huge back in states but it did quiet well in uk so i ws watching kiefer sutherland's interview and thats what he said, i also read that the movie will have nothing to do with any of the seasons so the charaters who r dead will be back for this movie its just a one off for the fans.

24 is the awesomest!! i love kiefer as jack bauer...he's totally my hero! i've been with that show since day 1 and that final moment just took my breath away and ever since then, i've been loyally watching each bad day he has. i love seeing the field work jack does versus the behind-the-scenes bs-ing in the government (especially this season dealing with terrorists and the constitution and democratic rights of the people of this country)..it's really great stuff and excellent writing and perfect acting.

this season they have totally ratched up the adrenaline rushes...i love it!! can't wait for monday!!...not to mention prison break just before it...sweet Wink

It's a fantastic show, I've been watching it from the start as well, my favourite season so far was 2.

I love the way they deal with things like the constitution as well, it's got everything - conspiracy theories, well developed characters ,fantastically written plotlines, brilliant acting and direction, and unvelievable excitement - what a moment at the end of episode one of this series - when he bit the guy's throat - fantastic!

Season 6 has been great so far but I felt a bit let down by episode 15, were the usual writers off on holiday that week or what? Some of the dialogue, especially between Milo and Nadia was really cheesy, and between Milo and Doyle just seemed off a few times; and I think they messed up the time codes a few times as well! Haven't seen 9-10pm yet, will watch that tonight, hopefully it's back to its glorious best!

Yeah saw episode 16 last night, much better, I just think the writers were on holiday when episode 15 was being done, I think with CTU they're trying to make Nadia and Milo into the new Tony and Michelle, can't be done though!

Doyle really bloody annoys me as well, he's so self-righteous I just want jack to give him a good kicking!

What an ending to episode 16 though, Palmer going ahead with the strike? I can't wait for next week! And the Russian guy dead, plus Fayed in custody, but his guy will go ahead and try to blow the bombs up somewhere in LA probably if they can't get to the nuclear power plant. It'll still be a race against time!

I suppose they are focussing more on the white house this season again, like they used to when David Palmer was president. Love the scene when Lennox told the Vice president the room was bugged Laughing

There's still at least one big twist to come though, there always is in the later episodes, someone else who's been working against them, my money's on Doyle!

yeah, we haven't seen him since, he wasn't dead when we last saw him though so he might still be alive, even if we don't see him again in this series we might see him again in the future. Was good to see Aaron Pearse again, with martha Logan, wish he had a bigger role though, he's a great character, was a really cool bodyguard to the presidents in previous series!

Yeah that was the original plan but after the first four episodes had played in america I downloaded and watched them and then I was hooked, couldn't wait till the series was over! I'm very impatient!

I loved Tony and Michelle, such a shame they died, they were great characters, I'd say we'll see more of Logan to be honest, if he was dead they would have shown us that he died, but if we don't see more of him this series maybe he'll pop up again next time around.

I just hate Doyle, he annoys me, I really liked Chase and Curtis and the other field ops guys in CTU but so far I certainly haven't taken to Doyle at all.

I was in xtravision earlier, was planning to get a movie out for the night but they're renting out box sets now, great idea, so I got Season 2 of 24 for the week, going to start watching it in an hour or so, I loved that series so much, it's a pity Kim isn't in it anymore.

We watched 10 episodes last night and nearly watched more but I was wrecked, watched one so far today, I always said season 2 was the best one so far and I haven't been disappointed! It's a shame Kim isn't in it anymore, I know a lot of people hated her but I enjoyed her storylines!

definitely worth checking xtravision for the box sets, I think I'll be watching all the back series of 24 now! The first series of the sopranos is excellent, we have the first five on dvd, bought them when they were on sale after xmas, it's mad how skinny tony is though!

I watched 8 on friday and 6 yesterday, was working well enough for me! It's been long enough that I had forgotten some of the twists and turns. Loved season 1 but I've seen it about 4 times now and I have it on dvd, I'm looking forward to getting season 3 out soon as well, it was a great one as well. I liked 5, it was very good, I'm enjoying 6 but I wouldn't say it's one of the best so far, though there's still a few episodes to go.

Tony is really fat in the game which is supposed to be set between day 2 and 3, I always wondered why they did him like that!

i liked ira gaines from season 1, simply beacuse when he blackmails him by kidnapping his wife and daughter and tells him to wear a ear piece and then he controls him throughout also hes got cameras installed in CTU

Yeah I always loved Tony, hated when he got killed, will be interesting to have him and Jack on different sides - though it might not stay that way, that's probably just a trailer of the double-bill first episode, and 24 is full of twists and turns and conspiracies....I love it so so so much!!!!

Kiefer's going to have to spend 40 days in prison in between shooting for it, he got done for drink driving during the summer.

yeah it was a great scene when Jack killed Nina but there was never a baddie to rival her since, Tony always had that rebel streak in him (same as Jack) so it should be brilliant....january is a long way away though!

the plot for season 7 seems like die hard 4 to me.
and yes kiefer sutherland will be doing time 48 days to be precise but i will be during december then he'l be back filiming rest of the eps in feburary as they have filmed the day eps now the night ones will be fimed later as the nights are long.
so i'v heard they always do that in every season.
im dnt mind him drinking but drinking and driving is just plain and simple stupid.

as ctu was changed new characters were introduced
and also the best part for me was in season 3 was jack on drugs.

There's always been that side to Jack I think, in S1 it was related to Terri and Kim but as the show progressed he showed some of his own vulnerabilities. I wish Kim was back in it though, I always liked her.

yeah he was ok, Logan was ok as well, didn't find him that great though. Would be great if Tony was the new Nina, like I say though I think he and Jack will end up on the same side before the end of the new series!
