RIP Charlie |
|
I thought I'd make a thread for people (well, mainly Em_J and Angelfairy ) for people to post what they'll miss most about Charlie now he's gone.
I think I liked him best at the start, he was the first to kill an Other after all when he shot Ethan (well maybe Ana killed Goodwin first, I don't remember the timeline from the other 48 days, but he was the first) and he was funny when he read Claire's diary, probably more sweet in a way than when they ended up getting together.
Plus he was really funny.
Post your favourite Charlie moments!

Ace, an RIP Charlie thread!!! (Shut up, Xarca!!)
I liked him best when he was working with Sawyer. Was so disappointed the way that turned out with Sun just giving Sawyer a slap and that was that. After all the build up they'd given it too, with Charlie saying 'Sun must never know.'
Also loved all his funny stuff, Dom's a comedic genius! When he read Claire's diary, that was brill! Even though I hated Charlie and Claire together there was some funny stuff between them. (Well, Charlie was funny, Claire just looked nice.)
Loved when he shot Ethan, esp. after Jack and that had said he couldn't have a gun cos he didn't know how to shoot. In your face, Jack!
Also all the Hurley and Charlie stuff was brill, when he said he loved Hurley! Awww!! So sad. And when he didn't believe Hurley was a millionnaire was funny.
I got loads more, should I go on?!

I've a feeling you will anyway, and when angelfairy logs on this thread will probably belong to the two of you!
Yeah the parting with Hurley was sad, especially since he did die in the end.
Classic line too "I'm a bloody rock god!"

i think Charlie has so many great moments
the time when he gave up on drugs way back in s1 was a great moment
When he shot Ethan was classic
Also belvie it or not i think his death was a great Charlie moment because of how emotional and well done the scene was ( i actually wanted him to live for the record why didnt he swim out the hole that was blown open )

Yeah I wondered that as well, maybe he just figured that he was going to die and it was better to face it than keep fighting against it? Or maybe after he told Desmond about Naomi he didnt have enough time?

Maybe he was just too dumb?!
I wasn't as if the whole place would have flooded in a couple of seconds, he and Desmond could have went under the bottom on the ship and swam to the surface no bother.

I'd have thought so, maybe he thought the grenade would make a bigger explosion and flood it straight away, and once he had the door closed then it was too late? he knew he wouldn't be able to open it again?

When he slammed the door I yelled at the screen, 'Nooooooo, Charlie, what are you doing?!' He could've got out.
Anyway, yeah his death scene was a good'n.
The 'one sugar plum fairy' counting thing cracked me up too. And the 'dear diary' thing. And when he was writing songs 'Monster eats pilot' also funny.

When he said to Hurley about eating his shirt was a funny moment too. Guess Hurley'll have to find himself a new comedy partner. Sawyer probably!

Yeah I think Hurley and Sawyer make a really funny pair but we'll have to see how long Sawyer is at the state he currently is, he's cracked up at the minute he looks to have gone all psycho!

Really? Apart from the shooting Tom thing, I thought he'd finally sorted himself out!

He just has a weird sort of look about him imo, looks like he has some murderous intent.

Yeah, that's why he shot Tom. He's lost his way, bless him. Maybe Sawyer's next for the chop!

Nah I doubt that, his character seems to be too popular and I like the way he is at the minute, even if it meant he did have to be an arse to Kate (she deserved for the way she had been recently).
I'm just so glad Hurley didn't die, there will always be humour in lost with him there.

Hurley was my favourite character in the finale by far, I laughed my ass off when he came into camp with the van.

Yeah that scene is up there with the very best of Lost as far as I am concerned, Hurley to the rescue! I'm even considering making a sig on the theme (at least until the competition entries start coming in)
