Band you wish had never split |
|
Lots of bands split up - some because of tragedy, others just because they don't get on anymore.
What bands that have split would you have liked to have stayed together and make more of their wonderful music?
for me it's
Nirvana (RIP Kurt)
The Doors (RIP Jim)

S-Club. It's a terrible thing when such a fusion of unique musical promise go their seperate ways....heh heh
But agree with Nirvana and The Doors, definately.
In support of Xanderwayne I think I'll admit to my Steps Greatest Hits Cd too . My excuse is that I was a student when I bought it.....not sure that's a good enough excuse!!!

I don't think I've ever been to a club where they've actually played Steps!

Then you haven't lived!!! heh heh...
Actually that's probably not true.... I think the fact that I grew up in and around Brighton had a lot to do with it, some cheese-tastic clubs around here!

I never owned a cd as embarrassign as that, but I did dance to Abba at a nightclub when I was seventeen (and the song was dancing queen which makes it worse), thought I should get down off my high horse in case it came back to haunt me in the future!

I have PJ and Duncan! Once when I was in a club one of my mates got the DJ to play Let's get ready to rumble and dedicate it to me! So embarrassing!

The first band that comes to mind would be Guns N' Roses.
Really could have become legendary.
Shame.
